Look at me farming!

I live in a townhouse. My garden is the size of a postage stamp. We have two planters - one for herbs and the other for something pretty plus a pot of mint. That's it. And honestly, gardening is not my thing.

When I visited Pat last year, I noticed sprouts growing in a dish on her dining table. Sprouts? I haven't eaten sprouts since the 70s. Now they sound delicious because let's face it - there is not much green in my fridge.

I ordered the sprouting kit from Amazon and within 5 days I had a crop! Pat suggested using the first bit on an egg salad sandwich. (Hardboiled eggs, mayo, chopped chives, chopped parsley, salt, pepper). So I did. And it was delicious. Maybe because I grew them myself, or it reminded me of my childhood. Whatever. Everyone should grow sprouts because we can!
